About Me : I am an automobile enthusiast with a passion for Formula 1. I am a lover of beauties in metal and if you ever come across, most probably a discussion about BHP and F1 season will have me occupied. I am an avid reader and a serious collector of automobile magazines with a personal collection of over 50 of them. I have always been interested in automobiles and spent my childhood near the Hindustan Motors Headquarters, Kolkata witnessing the making of good old Ambassador from scratch. I caught the bug during the days when my father use to head the Contessa project. As a child I spent trying to read old books about automobile engineering. As a teenager my holidays were spent reading about engines, turbos and superchargers, and drive train and designing cars. I have read extensively about the Indian automobile market and have presented a seminar on Hybrid Technologies. Nowadays my days are spent tracking F1 and trying to get a copy of ‘Making of Maruti’.
